Nice. I'm just trying to find something that will make me unique that will last. Next year I'm going to school to b a GM mechanic and school is 33 miles away so something that gets decent hwy for a truck is a nice option too lol.
Could someone break down the need for the headlight and relay mod and how to really do them? I'm no idiot but I'll admit when it comes to vehicles electronics are my weak point >.<
Now I also heard that the 6.2 devour transmissions, would I have to worry about that or would I be fine seeing as mine is different from the civilian model transmission?
Now out of curiosity, how reliable is the 6.2 Detroit? I hear a lot of bad things about them in the web and what not and I'd figure I'd ask some people who actually have had them. Are they really that bad of a motor or do the previous owners I've seen just not know how to properly maintain there...
thanks, luckily I have til next sept to work out any kinks and my money, although I don't make a whole lot, only goes towards fuel and smaller bills, so I will gladly be able to put some money worth it into this truck
Name's Brandon, hopefully soon to be proud owner of a m1009. I'm young, but not stupid so hopefully you guys will help me with my journey in the military vehicle world. Thanks!
