Mini Ice storm in Western Kentucky. Bought unit Sept 2017. Sleeps inside in my basement garage. Pushed it out, hooked to house, fired it up and went back to bed. Wife didn't even know power went out. We were back on the grid when I woke up this morning.
Fuel gauge not working. Gonna have...
Go to rural king and grab the 7.5kw 240 volt garage heater for around 100 bucks and grab 1 of your electric heaters from the office or in the house. Run the for around 9kw for a couple hours to see how she'll do.
I believe you can get by without a charge controller on that low of a wattage 24 solar panel. 10 watts 24 volts should work great without it.....think of your vehicle..it puts a constant 13 to 15 volts on your 12 volt battery without ever "switching off" the current.
If you go any higher...
So I posted recently an idea I am going to use to exercise my 803a with a 7.5KW load and a 5KW load from Rural King. Very inexpensive and easy/safe way to load your genset.....anywho....I am going to purchase this to keep my batteries topped off.
Just thought I would share. If I am breaking a...
I can't promise, but I have seen where several folks have started 3.5 ton HVACs with their 802a. I went with the 803a and while it was running my hot water heater it started my 5 ton HVAC.....and of course if it won't start it you can always have someone to install a hard start kit. Very...
How many ton unit was your HVAC that the Honda EU7000 would not start? It seems our MEP gensets have a much higher surge capability than say a good quiet honda generator and the 5KW MEP generator will start a 3.5 ton HVAC. My 10KW MEP generator starts my 5 Ton HVAC easily.
Great video, neat setup. I know nothing about solar or living off grid...I am intrigued by it, but wouldn't ever make the sacrifice to take the plunge, but I could definitely see doing something for my farm/hunting cabin.
Fairly inexpensive, lightweight, and handy. A 5KW model that can be adjusted to 4KW and 3KW. There is also a 7.5kw model. I don't think I broke any rules here as the store name is not on here and no link attached.
The big one weighs 24lbs.
Brand new cans.
I did receive the OEM spout....wow, that thing is big...and beefy...no leaks....of course it threads on the outside. I also tried the black spout adapter. I think what happened was the fuel might have leaked out the vent hole at the end of the pour when I tipped the can upside...
