Wmo One tank WMO, one Diesel. Start and stop on diesel, run on WMO(80/20)

I was thinking about installing a small tank for diesel when I am starting and shutting down my truck(M1008). Anyone set a system up like this?

Attached is the bottom of my power steering pump. There is a bolt coming out of the pump but does not appear to be long enough to attach to the bracket? Is this suppose to mount under here? If you have a picture of the proper mounting, greatly appreciated.

I am going to paint my 1008 next year CGI 383 next year. Some will be new panels, some will not. What type of primer is suggested?

Gear Vendors Ouch, Those units are like $3000.

I drive about 60 miles to work on the interstate. Would it be better to swap transmissions or change the gearing for highway travel?
