Actually 12.2 is on the low. 12.7 to 13.5 is the best. Make sure you check your voltage coming from the Alts to. Be sure they are putting out at least 13.0 to 14V. If not your batteries won't last as long as they should. There is sometimes little colored stickers on the batteries with a letter...
