You are so right. We've bought and sold a lot of old stuff over the years and in the end, when the talking is done, that's the final answer. I've been trying to keep my son-in-law informed of potential values for his stuff. And, I'm trying to decide how WILLING a buyer I might be. :)

Update: the brakes work! This truck continues to amaze me. When I got started on the brakes I thought I'd have to take the system apart and repair or replace the major components. Instead, I tapped on the master cylinder to free it up, found and repaired several leaks, bled the system...

JD 4010 w/ a #58 loader. Thanks for the tip on the bore scope. I'm about to the point where I'm ready to hook on to it and give it a few tugs to see if it will break loose. Nothing violent, just an easy pull or two.

No progress to report on the M220 or Boyce trucks, I've been spending what time I have working on the M35A2 brakes. But I was driving the tractor the other day as we laid some pipe down in one of the fields when I took this picture of M220 #2 (engine still won't turn). Thought I'd pass it on.
