Yes I used the convoy light br ackets. And 3/8 by 2 inch u bolts I spred the u bolts a extra 1/4 inch to go in to the holes the holes had plugs that I pushed out with a screwdriver. The brackets are 50 inches apart center to center.

I agree they just don't look right on top of the winch mounted on the 3/8 rectangular tube being used as a winch top plate. mounting them on either side of the winch will look better. Thanks for the thoughts on the subject!
I've been thinking of mounting a pair of route clearance lights above the winch. I have not drilled the holes yet to mount the lights. Any thoughts on how they look above the winch:?:
I need to cap off the air lines going to both glad hands. I just need to know what size caps I need. One cap on tee at reservoir. Second cap at booster cylinder. Both copper lines to glad hands are damaged. I plan on replacing lines with nylon DOT tubing. Caps are just a temp fix.

Thanks for the info I was thinking the same thing with the chain it is good to know that it works. And thanks for the heads up with the wet roads. In Utah you never know we can still get snow here in the valley it is still snowing in the mountains.
