Buy a 1990 or older and technically per the code of federal regulation it is exempt from all the regulations as long as it stays...

Interesting fact I noticed today, the unit markings on both the trailer and truck I got from Fort Jackson almost 3 months apart show both of them are from the same unit. Guess I can claim I have a matching set minus the paint.
This past weekend my wife and I drove back up to Fort Jackson and picked up a 1998 M1102 and hauled it back to Florida. Should go nicely with the M923.

It's been my experience that state employees are not well versed in the code of federal regulation.

I have to admit I had my finger on the bid button the other day while a bunch of trucks were closing out, one in particular that was up the road in FL from me. My wife was happy to hear I didn't bid of course ;) Maybe next time around. Some good trucks that went the other day.
