Hello all, been off for a few years and have acquired an M939 cargo truck. Does anyone know if there are armor up kits available for these? Or has anyone made a kit? Thank you in advance.

Looking at getting another HMMWV. One has the 6.5, the other 6.5 turbo. Is there much to gained with the turbo vs all the extra parts/potential things that could go wrong? I’m looking for some thoughts from members here.

I use Rotella 15-40. If you stay with a higher quality of motor oil, you shouldn't have to worry about the changing it as much. I also have spin on oil filters which does a better job of filtering the oil. Has anyone had an oil analysis done between different oils?

You can also magetize the drill and tap and that will further reduce the number of metal that reaches the turbo. However, it only takes a small amount of metal to distroy the turbo.

Has anyone built or bought a deer or moose catcher for their truck? I have seen some pretty nice ones on semi trucks.
