I got most of the parts to do the spin-on filter and a new fuel pump. I have to get the fittings for the filter base and I should be able to work on the M1008 friday afternoon and saturday mid morning I'll let you all know if it solves the hard starting

a few questions... where all cucv's painted with carc? got my '86 M1008 from GL at Fort Meade[sept '08] the hood is basically bare metal/rust and the rest of the paint is faded [see pic] would carc fade like this? Anyway to tell if its carc or regular paint? I plan on repainting the M1008...
