    Corporate 14 for M1009

Oh, and the disc brake brackets can be had from Sky manufacturing or ORD, or Diy4x.com. And its cheap, and you just use 3/4 ton rotors off of the front of a chevy. Finding the 8 lug Dana 44 Front ends is cake too, and they just bolt right up.

    Corporate 14 for M1009

All of my trucks have 14B FF rearends. If you use the 3/4 ton version, make sure you do a disc brake swap before you bolt that giant thing in there. As far as the driveline issue, you can find a 3/4 ton suburban driveline at any wrecking yard, and just use that driveshaft to make your new one...

    Starter

Yeah, theres a bracket for the back of the 6.2 starters that comes from the factory. It bolts the starter to the block at the rear of the starter. If you need a picture of it, I have one sitting in my work van I can take a picture of. I know that those brackets are offered through NAPA, but who...

According to Gov Liq...i dont exist? WTF?

I have some serious issues with govliquidation. I purchased an M1008 from New York, and a snow plow from Ohio. I submitted both EUC's and the one for the snowplow was identical to the one for the truck. They then insisted that I make changes on the one for the truck, did that and they still...

    Banks Turbo

Sidewinder Hey, i've got a complete banks sidewinder turbo setup, with the full mandrel bent exhaust, and also a brand new never used Banks muffler. I did a 454 tbi swap with twin cases/blah blah blah and I'd like to sell it to someone who will actually use it. I'm looking for 950. I'm in...

    autozone shackle kit

Just get the DIY4x.com "B52" kit. Then you can position that front spring however you wish, and have a stronger mounting point, more flex, and better spring rate.

    autozone shackle kit

52 inch! Okay, thankfully everything everyone is talking about here is EASILY researched and figured out for dirt cheap. Thank god for chevrolet enthusiasts. The 52 inch spring swap is a bitchin route. You can check out DIY4X: Catering to those who enjoy doing it themselves. and see thier "B52"...

    4L80E or 700R4

the guys who make the quadzilla 4l80 make a manual shift valvebody for the 4l80. Remember, it only costs money. Not a cent more.2cents

    4L80E or 700R4

Okay, so the 4l80e is going to be a better choice, and the standalone ecm's are awfully thrifty right now. Advanced adapters can adapt any GM OD Auto to pretty much any transfer case you can think of. You'll be pissed off at the 700R4 in no time flat. No matter how cool you keep them, they just...

    How much is stuff worth?

alright, I got the turbo, the manifolods, oil tube, all the tubing and connectors, etc. the alternator, wiring harness, 12v starter, glow plugs, all of the glow plug wiring, and the banks guages for the turbo for 300 bucks. I felt like I got a good deal. Oh, and the injector pump. the problem is...

New M1028 owner with 208 question

From what I understand, they used the 208 for two reasons, cost and the deeper 4low gear ratio.

    Andrew @ Wright/Patterson

Went and picked up my snow plow today, and Andrew from GL was awesome. Not only did he bust his ass to get the plow in the truck and positioned the best, but also did some forklift yoga to get the mounting and power unit into the bed with the blade. Nothing but good things to say about him, and...

    How much is stuff worth?

So, I'm going to dive into the turbo project on the 1008. I have a banks turbo setup, manifolds, tubing, and an injector pump, and all of the lines, clamps, etc. I'm also getting the 12V wiring harness out of the other truck, starter, glow plugs, the guage cluster for the banks setup....... What...
