    Anybody encountered this before?(electrical)

Yes. I replaced the starter relay. The starter is 24V. Got it from DB Electrical out of Tennessee.

    Anybody encountered this before?(electrical)

I just replaced my direct drive starter for a gear reduction starter as the old was on it's way out. The truck sat for a month before I got around to doing it. After the new starter was in I hook up my batteries and go to start it. The starter fired fine but I think I lost prime in the fuel...

    NAP Air Conditioning for M1009

I just cut out some of the back of my glovebox. Can't put much in there, but it still functions for paperwork. As far as performance. It blows nice and cold. The back seat passengers can feel some cool air if the middle vent is directed right at them. Will it get your truck ice cold? No...

    BOLO missing truck

I'll keep an eye out as well. I remember seeing this vehicle a couple of months ago when I was heading out to Patriots Park. He got off at the Grovetown exit and went towards Grovetown. For those of you who may spot me. Mine has tinted glass as well now, but no sliding window. And I have a...

    My M1009 Problems!!!

There's no telling how many times the odometer has rolled over. I bought mine at 99K right before it rolled over. I don't know how many times it may have prior. It was in the AL national guard. I'm in the GA guard and we roll up the miles on our HMMWV's big time. Active duty vehicles don't...

Finally got my 1009 a companion

I won't know till about a month out how my schedule's gonna be. But I'll definitely go if I don't have a work conflict.

    KaBOOOOM---and the M1009 is dead

Sorry it took me so long. I didn't get around to it until this evening. And for those who found humor in the reference about my wife riding me. All I'll say is; if you only knew.

    KaBOOOOM---and the M1009 is dead

Well, until I get back there this morning with new batteries. I get in last night after a cookout at the in-laws and as I initiate the starter I hear an immediate blast that was equivalent to a .50 cal pop. The truck goes dead at this point and I'm wondering what in the world happened. I just...

I have air conditioning AND a running M1009!

Where did you end up putting your blackout and service drive switches? I was guessing I'd just drill 2 holes under the left vent but wanted to see how they did yours. I'm about done with mine but they didn't provide enough #6 hose for me. I'll get that and get all the hoses crimped tomorrow...

I have air conditioning AND a running M1009!

How long did it take for them to install it? It may well be worth it for me to drive down that way since they already have experience with these vehicles. It will be a tough decision. I could do alot with $500. But the more I think about tackling it, the more $500 doesn't seem like a...

I have air conditioning AND a running M1009!

How much were you charged for the installation? I've had mine for a while but haven't had time to tackle it. I just got back from a military school and am pressed for time. If it's not too awful much, I think I'd be better off avoiding the headache.

Nostalgic Air Parts A/C kit experiences?

I'll IM you when it comes in and let you take a look. I'm thinking that you would be able to find something easier if you only have 1 alt. Maybe even something salvaged from a K5 or Suburban with a 6.2. But I'm no expert.

Nostalgic Air Parts A/C kit experiences?

I saw the exact same deal. I was going to go with the OD when I finally had the finances to swing it and I go back to find them at $1350. I went ahead and ordered from Nostalgic for $940 something/free shipping. I'll keep yall mosted on my experience. Just ordered it Thursday 22nd Hey...

Who has installed A/C in their CUCV?

I've seen threads in the past where many say they're going to do it, but I'd like some input from those who've done it. I'm wondering what my best option is. I don't really want to convert to 12V, which would probably be the easiest route considering you could get the stuff from a civilian...
