Also here is the part number from the 34p TM 5613939 which crosses directly from the GM number to the 13G which crosses to the 070. Found it on Google since it has been awhile since I needed to look up the number.
Now maybe if you are converting or something, others will work but the correct...
WOW! the companies catalog must be wrong then. There catalog says the 070 is for the cucv, All cucvs for that matter and the 050 is for civilian applications using the 6.2. Also the G070 is stamped right on them as 11.6v which is why the use of them after a resistor. All the CUCV glow systems...
I have been using the Wellmans in my M1008 and they have been in there for over 6 years with no issues. They dont heat up as fast as the civy units but they are dual coil and dont swell They are the 070s that the truck calls for and so far they are the only company I have found that makes...
Can you see the shaft rotate where it goes through the bell housing? if yes then you will need to gain access to the clutch housing and see if the throw out sleeve is still intack and did not spin on the fork. I have had the spring clip break and the sleeve rotate and the fork no longer...
I did some more searching and the winter front number 7978798 is for the M39 series 5 ton trucks which have a flatter front and different hood hold down system then the 809 so that is why it dont fit. I just listed it on eBay and maybe someone can use it. Wish I knew the number for the M809 cover.

I am looking for a winter front for my M816. I bought one on eBay that was NOS in a sealed bag with all the hardware but it is not for the M809 series, I am not even sure what it is for now after trying it. It looks like it could be but nothing lines up, the hood hold downs are off and it is...
ok, since we are on the wrecker subject. I just replaced the gladhands on my M816 and noticed the front and rear are backwards. When towing another MV do the air lines cross from wrecker to towed vehicle? Same as safety Chains?
When I just rebuilt my TH400 the gov itself was the same part number for the gas to diesel but there was paperwork in the box to modify the weights for the diesel and for the corvette. It was no big deal just used a die grinder to cut on the line. This was a replacement part from the...
Advance auto sells the replacement oil cap for like 10.00 or so. They wont have it by the part number or the cucv application, you must look for an older diesel like a 1978 Chevy C 10 with a 5.7 Diesel and that will be the correct cap.
NAPA has the flywheel for 35.00 and the trans or engine does not have to come out. You can just unbolt the trans and slide it back about 3 inches and swap it out. I have done a few that way. Also it is a flywheel for an automatic trans or manual, it is still a flywheel. Chrysler products...
I ordered the spacer from Carr and I will be doing the mod tomorrow. Glad to know someone else had the same issue and we were thinking on the same page. Thanks
