I would take it out and clean it and replace the o-rings and it will be good as new. If it is pointed to the back of the truck it is the left tank if it is pointed to the drivers seat it is the right tank. But someone may of put it on wrong.

Have you checked your hoses to see if they are the problem?

There is some places that can make tubing for you. I had a power steering line made and it had like 5 90's in it. Just look a round in your town and you may find one close to you.

Are you sure you are reading the #540 right.

You can always down load the TM's from this site. I did find wire #578, it goes to the Air pressure switches on the air tanks, they are under the right side of the cab by the tool box. I could not find wire 540.

That maybe the best thing to do is just repipe it and loss all the fuel piping. It is amazing at all the pipes under the trailer.

Sounds like you airpack (brake booster) has gone bad.

A friend of mine just passed away and he had a M54A2. She ask me to get it running and she is going to sell it. It had a cutoff switch on the battery, just needed to find the key and it fired right up.

You need to check the oil 1 min. after you shut down the truck, It is stamped on the the dip stick.
