Hi, i am in the process of restoring my 52 reo V17. I have looked at all the pics off of this site and haven't been able to find any of the insides of the tool boxes or of the inside of the cab. Also, any more pics of the outside would be most appreciated. thanks
i use magnets in my set up, but i use drip socks so i just throw them in. I have seen someones set up were they put magnets on the waste oil barrel in a way so that as you pour in the waste oil it runs over them. I also use rare earth magnets as they are stronger
i just had my tank hot tanked at a radiator shop, came out clean as a whistle, you could also do the old, slow way of putting some ball bearing in it and some cleaner and shaking it around, thats what my grandpa would do. i would check if any shop around you can tank it
leaks should always cause a little concern so great job getting on it, i would pull the pto and put the cover plate back on with a new gasket, its probably leaking from the gasket
