    And the project begins

So I brought home my new deuce last week and I'm ready to get going on it. I picked up the HEMTT wheels and 15.5R20 Michelin's yesterday. I dropped off the wheels today at the machine shop to get them re-centered but it will be 2-3 weeks before they're able to get them finished. If I can...

Brought home a new M35 yesterday

I brought home a new M35a2 yesterday. I sold my 1st one about 18 months ago to buy my grandfather's 1957 John Deere and have wanted another deuce ever since. This one doesn't have quite the options my other one had but hopefully with a little time and $$ I'll get it there. It's a 1971 AM...

    M51 gasser vs multifuel deuce?

I have only owned one MV, that being the deuce in my avatar. I'm wondering what I could expect differently out of an M51 gasser? Any thoughts/experience is greatly appreciated. John

    Can you buy the O-rings??

I wondering if anyone knows where I could buy a spare O-ring for my HEMTT wheels. I'd also like to buy a spare valve stem while I'm at it. I figure if I don't buy spares then I'm guaranteed to have a problem so I'd like to look at buying some and then I'll likely never need them. Thanks...

New shoes (and socks) on the deuce

Well, after 2 long days of back breaking work I now have modified HEMTT wheels and 15.5R20's on my deuce. (I also flipped the hubs)

    HEMTT wheel valve stems

Okay, looks like I'm picking up some HEMTT wheels Tuesday to go with my 15.5R20 Michelins. The wheels I'm getting have nuts and o-rings but not valve stems. Is that something I can get locally at a big truck shop or do I need to order somewhere special? Thanks for the help! John

    So what's this truck worth?

1954 GMC 211 with 302 inline 6 gas motor. Solid body but needs paint, ran when parked 7-8 years ago but hasn't been started since. Needs some TLC but a great truck for restoration IMO. So what do you all think a truck like this is worth? Thanks, John

    tires in east tennessee?

I currently have 12.5R20 Michelin XL's on my deuce and I'd like to go to either 395/85R20 Michelin's or G20 Michelin's. Anyone know of somewhere in East Tennessee these can be purchased? My goal is 46" tall (or so) to gain higher top speed and 14-15" wide. I also want to keep my factory...

How do I check my brake fluid??

So I went to check my brake fluid today.... I removed the screw from the hinged plate in the driver side floorboard and expected to find a removable top on the master cylinder to check the brake fluid. That's not what I found. How do I check it? I'm probably missing something simple, just...

    A little deuce makeup

Got around to painting the driver side of the bed today. I forgot to take a pic before, but I did take some of the other side before painting. I plan to do the passenger side tomorrow.

Brought home my 1st deuce today!

Brought home my 1st deuce today! PICS Added! Okay, so I bought and brought home my 1st deuce today. I bought it from Rockman (aka Bill). Drove it about 100 miles to get it home and it drove great. It does have a sometimes slight and sometimes rough vibration between 44-52mph. Any thought on...

Title says it all, does anybody have one? If so, anybody that did the work themselves? Thanks, John
