OK- some definition is in order. I just mentioned a QUIETER ride...Not a quiet ride [thumbzup] I have a muffler installed but flooring would definitely quiet the road nopise. I love being able to hear the engine run- You can tell when things dont sound quite right :wink:

What kind of a 'fuel pod' set up are u looking for?

I know that you guys are using this in cucv's but what about in the deuce cabin? I'm sure it would quiet its operation immensely-?

Be sure that the oil 'hole' on the mount plae is free and clear! I had the same prob with the first comp on my deuce. The city mech's had rtv'd the ENTIRE gasket -COMPLETELY filled the hoiler hole. That was expensive! aua

I just looked @ some pics of lds's and the only noticible diff is my starter is on the left/passenger side. Any other differences between the two?

I noticed something interesting the other day on my deuce. The Engine ID tag stated that the engine is a LDS-465-1A... The deuce has a 'whistler' turbo and non-airshift front axle. I thought the turbo models were all LDT's. Any ideas about the different ID's? :lost: Thanks, Doc P.S. Is TFAD...
