Most auctions are sold "as is-where it is" my experience is, you dont get your money back, and if you refuse possession, after you pay the auction company will simply keep the item and your money, if not picked up within a certain time frame. With that being said, most auction companies will do...
That sucks. I work at an equipment auction on the side. I see it all the time. People take small parts they need during preview, even caught a few doing it during the actual auction. Some do it for the parts and alot do it to drive down the price. I hate a thief.
I have seen a couple chevys with cummins dropped in them. Looks like a lot of work. My 6.2 has always started and run great but if you plan on off roading I think the 6.2 sucks. Just my opinion.
Mine has always done what it wants. Depends on the day. Shifts smooth most of the time, sometimes it seems like I forgot to push in the clutch pedal.:|

You got it! Probably a leak in the system. Drains down overnight. Make sure the check valve on top of the pump is clear and operating. These tend to get clogged. It returns extra fuel to the tank. If clogged it will stop the free flow of fuel through the pump. Easy to remove and clean. Good luck.
GM originally used fiber parts in the pump. Not sure what parts. They break down and clog the check valve. If it gets rebuilt they will not reinstall fiber parts. If you buy another pump that has not been rebuilt it will do the same thing in time. Had the same problem about four years ago...
Nice job:!: What type of primer/paint should be applied. My duece paint is probably in average shape, but i do have surface rust on top of the cab that will get worse unless i do something soon. Are you able to purchase carc, isn't carc more hazardous than your usual automotive paints? My...
Mine was converted to 12 volt before I took ownership. No problems as long as the engine does not give you problems. In cold weather if the truck does not start after a couple of ateempts the 12 volt systems needs a boost.
The 6.2 is not much of an engine . Luckly they used gears to make up for lack of horsepower. But it will last for ever with a little maintenance. If the injector pump has not been rebuilt, (probably has by now). You will eventually need to. Those pumps had a fiber gear in them that will...
