Now that I am putting things back together I am starting to mess with the air system. Is there such a thing as an air diagram similar to the wiring diagram? Anything on the air system I should be expecting to be messed up with a mog that has been sitting for a long time?
That is probably the only part of mine that is not rust 😀 It is a good chunk of steel which I would not mind having around and i do know someone who makes it your way once in a while. why are you removing it?
I think you are on to something with this as all four stamps are each beside their own weld and these 4 welds are the biggest welds that I know of on the machine. Still made me smile when I found those. For anyone else looking remove the bottom piece of the roll over protection and check the...
Starting to put the mog back together. While painting the bottom piece of the roll over protection found 4 places where this pistol or revolver is stamped into the steel. It is cool. Does it mean anything?
Talking about the nylon cup looking things? I was looking at those, how do I remove them even on the bench? I am currently thinking cutting or chiseling it out, but seems there should be a better way.

Off to a good start. I have never seen this stuff. It was damp to the touch, but seemed...

There is flaking on the gears that I am told is the hard surface layer? I got a used one coming that appears to have good gears and I will go from there.
In the first post on this thread it says "
Post name, Town, State, country, email, phone, first 9 digit of frame no. or what you think/like to build a network of
FLU419 owners. "
Brandan Topham in Sprague River Oregon, 205-8837 Where on the frame do I go for that number? I got a FLU that was little better than for parts and I am working on getting it going. While I knew it was in bad shape I did not expect major engine or trany problems. I am currently going through...
Hi all, I live and work on a family cattle ranch and have always wanted a backhoe. I saw one of these on Craigs list this spring for less than what a similar sized backhoe normally goes for in my area. I went drove it and ran it and was temped to buy it. I know a proper backhoe would likely be...
