hey guys, ive gotta chance to buy two APC's cheap. they don't run but did about ten years ago. they have the air cooled engines in them. how hard is it to find parts for them? and how much are they worth? one has new under carriage. they're rusty but i haven't seen them in a while.

I called KC Hilites and they built 24 V lights for my duece. its on the new post board with pics. look at "finally finished my M35A2 conversion....... ive got IR lites to put on the bumper but havent done it yet.
well jim i appreciate the offer, but ive already got both. but i am trying to figure out how to build a bikini top for it that mounts on the lite bar, so i can still lay the windshield down. any thoughts would help.

The lite bar wasn't hard to build. I just bolted onto some exsisting holes that were already threaded. so I didn't have to weld it on in case I want to take it off.

Ive tried feathering the throttle when driving, trying to let it shift. but it wont do it until about 28 and 47 or 48 mph. it does have a cable going up to the throttle. but isnt that the kick down?
Ill try to send some pics tommorrow. its at my shop right now. will adjusting the governor springs mean I have to go inside the tranny. because I don't that much about auto trannys. it might get messy...:?:
It is a 3L80 with out park. can the shift pattern be adjusted? I looked all over it for a vac line couldnt find any where. what do ya'll think? is it internal damage? the oil pan was clean...
I thought about the vaccuum line. but I was told since it was a diesel there were no vac lines. I looked any way and couldnt find any. How do you adjust the modulator valve?

I bought an 85 HMMWV M1038. When I get on the highway it takes a while to shift. The motor really winds up tight, shifting into 2nd at 28 mph and 3rd at 47 mph. There isn't a tach so I don't know what RPM's. i changed tranny filter, the oil pan was clean as whistle. The control module...
