There is a guy on e bay that sells nos dash pads for 81-87 gm trucks. Ithey are light gray in color. The last 3 pads i bought grom the local gmc dealer were gray in color.
Keep an eye on your engine temp. I had that same perma cool fan set up - very expensive - on mine and it kept having overheating problems. They make another set up that is for the duramax diesel that fits the radiator core size alot better. Mine now stays at 155 degrees all day long:-d
I donot think napa is going to have what you are looking for. I could not get one there for mine ....got lucky and there was a truck in the local salvage yard
Napa sells the gasket - its made out of aluminum - could use as template to make a plate to install after you take axles out. Or get an old pair of axles and cut the shafts off - just bolt the flanges on and your done. I would do it your way to as you are not turning the gears or detroit...
i m putting a gm serpentine belt kit on mine so i am changing all of the brackets/ etc. the powersteering pump i am going to use the original pump just changing the pulley and mounting on new bracket.i hope to have it running this weekend
It all bolts right in . The small block and big block mount buckets are a little different......will bolt in but 454 sits about an inch higher with small block buckets. Will post some more photos this weekend
In the photos that evilone posted . Does anybody no what kind of tires : Brand name and style are on the truck in the photo ? Look in the 1st and 2nd photos . Can they still be purchased ? Thanks , hal
That the one . I have seen 2 or 3 of them for sale on e bay over the years. They all had bucket seats them too. I never seen them support rods over the engine . Look like they are oem /military issue.
Could be a canadian cucv 1976 model . They were chevy trucks with a gas 350 engine. It is a 4x4 . It has the spicer full time four wheel drive axle plates with small dust cover in the center.

all civilian chevy /gmc 4x4's with auto trans th350 or th400 - did not say that k30 had th350
also the brace in my m1008 is not oem . So i know that the m1028 and m1008 that i own did not have them .
