Sounds like a good deal. i got mine last week in east TN and the guy wanted 4K for it. took it for a ride and drove great stopped good. even the wipers worked which was a plus for all the rain we have had. one problem NO front drive shaft. he kept saying it had one but eveytime i looked it...
ya i saw it. he orderd one that was 4 inches to sort then orderd one 3/4 in to long. i dont have an old one to measure. thats why i was woundering about the interchangable parts so i could just order one
i know you all have talked about this before but im new to the site and still learning my way around. what should i compair the 1008 to when i go to the auto parts store replace bad parts. ex radiator hoses, belts, alternators.
anyone in the Chattanooga area? i have a new 1008 and don't know much about them other than what the TM tells me, thanks doghead:smile:. but i was wondering if someone could show me things to keep an eye on inorder to presearve a good truck and make it better.

I am new to the CUCV world so forgive me on my stupidity, but where would this fuse be for the Gen 2 light if all of the alts are putting out what they should?
