I used a jumper wire and they worked, so I went and bought a brand new switch and it is still doing the same crap.

I have an old 6.2 suburban I use for parts if I need a new switch.

Ok it seems only the yellow and the large orange wire near the bottom are getting power.... so do I need a new switch?

Alright, I have done some searching but I am still stumped. I have no parking lights, dash lights or tail lights. My low and highbeams, brake lights, and turn signals and hazards all work great. I am not very good about the electrical aspect of cars so I'm not really sure where to start. All...

No my parking lights or dash lights do not work, my actual brake lights work great it is the taillights that stay lit when you are driving in the dark.

I did the swap and it was really easy, also did valve cover gaskets. Now the truck doesn't leak diesel or oil and fires right up! thanks everyone for their help. Now I have a problem with my tail lights, all the lights work fine on the truck except my tail lights dont come on when the lights...

Thanks a bunch! One more question... On the left side of the pump on my m1009 there are vacuum lines, On the suburban one there are electrical what is that for?

So the pump will swap right in, I dont have to change any electronics? Then I have to figure out the timing?

Yes there is a J, my main concern right now is the electronics (is the pump 24 volt?), and the timing.

Hey I just pulled an injector pump off a civilian 6.2 suburban. The pump is a stanadyne DB2, I was wondering what would be involved to put it on my m1009? Also I dont see any timing marks on the civilian pump. Any help would be much appreciated, Mike

^ unfortunetly that did happen, does anyone know of a place where I can buy just the one instead of a pair? Used is fine, this truck is sucking my wallet dry.

Thats what my first guess would be, it doesnt smoke, and theres no oil in coolant so I'm assuming its the valve cover gasket. Any idea where I could get one and also do you have to remove the injector lines?

Hey everyone I am really stumped on an oil leak and could use any help I can get. I have a leak somewhere above the oil filter, It runs on the headers, then down the exhuast then drips all over my driveway. The leak will leave about a 4 inch circle whenever I park it after a drive. Thanks...
