The M578 was a recovery vehicle in artillery units. They had the detroit diesel 2 cycle. They had either the 8v71 or the 92, can't remember. It is one awesome vehicle!! He needs to get it as soon as possible before someone demil it. I use to work on them.
that is true, they will crack, big time. i should know, i broke one when i was in the army. didn't think about it, put it low and cracked it. thank goodness i was in the army or else it would be kinda expensive. i was so use to driving the m800 and m35 series trucks, i didn't stop and think...
glad to hear you got her running. are you going to another adapter for your primary filter? the detroit series 60 engine is a good engine!! i work on those at my job. check your lines and the adapter for any damage. make sure they are tight. if you need any help, holla back.
