Hi Guys,
I just picked up a couple of these and I am not sure who made them. Have you seen these before? Looks like they may have had a battery hold down at some point and a splash guard. Anyway, I you have a lead on who made them, let me know.
Thanks
Bought mine off of fleabay with a 1 year warranty. Tired to exercise the warranty and this guy won't even accept emails. Fleabay says I am SOL ans so does pay pal. Oh well, live and learn. Going to look into the one your talking about. The broken one I have has all of the connectors already...
I picked up one of these and can't find anything on it in the TM's. I need the part numbers for the mounting brackets, pins and bumpers. Anyone have a TM on it?
Hi All, I took the M998 out today and put it away. Went back out the the shop later and was working on something and noticed a short 1 second buzz/vibration noise coming from the HMMWV. I didn't have time to trace it down but it was only happening once every 3 or 4 minutes. Anybody run into...
So they do not need to stay in place? The rim halves won't move right? Anyway, I realize the tires aren't directional, I just like the way the MT's look with the center arrows pointing the same direction.
Hi all, I picked up a set of old style 12 bolt wheels with some new tires on them. I wanted to flip a couple of tires to match the tread direction so I took a couple apart. After I was done putting them together, I stuck them on the balancer and noticed the back wheel half was out of center...
The alignment looks pretty good. I think I am going to add a thin shim to the left rear for the camber though, that side had one extra that the other didn't have. It was toed out pretty good on the front, good thing I had it aligned.
I decided to remove the rear camber shims on my M998 to get a strait camber. Wow, those rear upper control arm brackets are a bear to remove by yourself, good thing I have 3 elbows...... Anyway, I know this topic has been beat up a bit around here, but I couldn't find the torque specs on the 4...
Anybody know what the front window is made out of? I was attempting to attach a rear view mirror to it but couldn't get the epoxy to set right, kept popping off. I gave up and mounted it on the upper windshield frame. It's not ideal, but I love having one there.
