I agree, I'm learning and don't plan to operate the MV till I learn what I need to. The 813 is in the yard and will stay there for a while while it is cleaned up and worked on. Sorry for the confusion
If the NHC-250 is shutdown by the Emergency Shut off switch, what's the trick to get restarting it? The pressure gage on the left of the steering wheel reads 0. The fuel primer pump doesn't seem to do much, should that feel like the pressure pump on a Coleman camping lantern?
Here's a dumb question from a newbie: do you or more like how do you, balance a set of 14.00R20's? Or is it not a big concern due to the weight of the MV and the speeds that it travels? Thank you for your help, trying to figure this out as I go without getting into a dangerous situation.

Mr. Vintage iron, did you use the Hemmt rims or the combat rims for your 16.00R20's? I'm trying to find a place that has both the rims AND tires, and that can mount them. Any suggestions?
Okay, I bought my first M813 - it's a 1970 with dual wheels - how difficult is it to switch to the super singles? Will the 16.00R20 Michelin XZL tires fit with standard military 5-ton rims? Is there anything special that needs to be done other than changing the tire and wheel combo? Anything...
