Ok so it moves ok it may have been stuck but not enough it wouldn't move. So anyone have directions on how to get the part off without a pressing tool?

Whats everyone using in place of the pressing tool?

So as I am taking mine apart I see something I dont think is correct and could be the problem. In the pics below you should see what I am talking about the shaft is on the wall and does not look like its free to move up and down. Any thoughts. If not i will hit the problem sometime.

Thanks! I got the cap off but the valve under it wow its on good. Thought maybe thats why it was not coming loss. Thanks let me know Rob

So i got it off! I found after i took it off the leak i was concerned about in my first post... it appears to be an oil line that oils the pump. So it looks like this is just a bad fitting nothing crazy. Now what should i look for with the pump that would tell me it failed or why it failed?

This weekend i am going to try and take it off and apart. I am going to get all the information together i can and see how it goes.

Ok so i did what you said i think this time lol. I pushed in the (picture attached) arm with the arrow all the way up until it hit the stop screw on the injector pump. Still no fuel. Thanks Rob

Ok i think i did this correctly. I pulled the throttle all the way out on the unit. I then tried to start it, when the solenoid pulled it up i took at screw driver and tried to raise it higher. It did not go any higher and no fuel was coming from the out ports for the injectors. When i mean...

Ok just like everyone i have issues, well i always have issues i mean with the mep002a. :) Issue 1 I am leaking, i think oil but not sure off of the bolt that sits on top of the injector pump and behind it a bit. see pic below Don't know if this has anything to do with the next issue or not...

I am trying to replace the fuel filters. I am not sure how to get the canisters off. I know with the oil the nut on the bottom takes it off but does the canisters on the fuel screw off or is the bottom nut the same trick?

I will check to see if it needs tighting. :) I was not able to find it in the manual if thats what tm is.
