So I have a few more questions
For Mep002a/3a series gens
So finally have all of my gens running strong.. now…
How do you determine the speed of the motor? Need to set max and min speeds
Does the throttle need to be all the way at full to function right or just so the hz are at the proper...
I cant not find the directions on how to adjust this anywhere. Anyone have any knowledge on how to do this? The part I am talking about is on tm-6115-585-24p page132 figure 41 and is called the “the governor assembly”
I am at the point where I need to re-adjust my injector pump I think.
My fuel shut off solenoid will lift but the unit will not start until I life the throttle lever (the thing that the fuel shut off solenoid pushes on) up a bit. I assume this is because it needs to be adjusted. It never moves...
I am looking at extending the 2 connections behind the control box. I want to move the box into my garage. Anyone see a problem with that? Anyone know a place to buy the male and female connectors to do that?
I will look in to it. Thanks everyone. Does the unit have a oil temp sensor I could tap into? If I remember right if it gets to hot it should shut down automatically. If that's correct it has a sensor someplace. Correct me if I am wrong.
So to all you ASK owner for the mep003a what are the areas that need to have ventilation holes? I am going to build a small shed around it just like an ASK so I need to make sure I have the right placement of holes for cooling. Detailed pictures would be amazing if anyone can help.
Thanks
The way i see it is i have not run the unit since i took the pump out. I know what tooth it was on when it was taken off. All i did was fix it and placed it back the way it was. If that does not work then i will have to figure out the timing part.
So i only had a few min before dark to work on it. My wife had other plans for me today. Tomorrow we are expecting a very big storm so it may have to wait until next week ;(
