In the Marine Corps we had what was called a SCAMP Platoon. It stood for "Sensor Control and Management Platoon" the motto was "In God we Trust, all others we Monitor".
It's easier to acquire a set of M-1022 Ground Mobilizers and tow it.
We had numerous containers like this that contained our AN/TYQ-23 Tactical Air Operations Modules and no way would they fit in the bed of a truck and were too costly to risk dropping.
Left side of tailgate held in place with strong magnets. Small light tapped into tail lights. Less than $5 and no invasive drilling. If someone steals the tag oh well.
Here's one painted after the Desert Combat Uniform (DCU) pattern or 3 Color Desert commonly seen after Desert Storm in Somalia. The DCU is still worn in CentCom theatre by some SF units and Coalition Forces.
That's a Center of Balance or C/B marking. It was required for movement by air. That marking would be about the center of balance for a CUCV. Normally units would use masking tape to mark the "CB" as it would likely move a few inches from embarkation to retrograde depending on the cargo load...

A former DI I knew told me he could get his entire Platoon in one and once he got...
I'm not one for doing things that are "correct" to the letter. Do what you want and never look back. I put the "Official use only" on mine and have never had a negative comment. 99% of people don't know the **** difference anyways.
Cable lock all the way on AR platform rifles. Once it's through the magazine weld and ejection port no punks getting it. I'd never leave a rifle unattended for long anyways.
In Mass anything is possible. I was born, raised and stationed there for a while in the service. That's why I live in NC now. Good luck with the tax and political crap up there it's too much for me to deal with.
The whole design of the jacket never made sense to me. Wearing an OTV (Outer Tactical Vest there's no need for that mandarin collar. Most Soldiers today opt for the combat shirt over the ACU jacket.
I taught Combat Water Survival for 4 years and one of the techniques the Marines had to master...
Could have been a "Road Master" as well. In the Marines these guys were in charge of enforcing all tactical vehicle rules. They were a pain in the n*ts. They would pull you over and count the number of Marines in the back, ensure you had a signed letter from the CO allowing you to transport beer...
