I can attest to the long life and durablity of airplane tires; [thumbzup] I have a JD 2755 2wd tractor that has custom made bead lock rims and airplane tire they have outlasted a set and half of rear tires. My 6400 has a very slow leak from thorn trees :banghead: , and the airplane tires don't...
The largest winch anchors i have seen are rated for 14K of pull. I think they would be right out at their limit. It could be used but i would pefer a big tree or duece sized vehicle.
HRD sucide doors defintly earn their name. I i had a feeling that those tires were a bit close... i can't wait for you to finish- at least the next stage
sucide doors on the back would be sick HRD. Alas, it's not my truck.
You almost don't have enough room to make the cab, what with those 53s
in the way and the axle so much closer to the cab.
great job so far HRD.
Spicergear, you should send that into fourwheeler as an article. Man i've had troubles on long trips involing trailers but nothing that could compare to that. Those D-max's are awesome aren't they? My dad loves his- I wish i had a diesel truck too!
Bjorn sorry to get off topic but, I see you painted the flood lights and the headache rack too.
i kept staring at the one green flood light.
What's that Yellow cord for?
oh i was wondering b/c i've been told that the tanker models had two ptos and the possibity of a NHC 250 would be nice, but i guess it would make since not to have a heavier truck doing the same job the 2.5 could do.
The spookies were the gunships based off the C-47s and these the new ones are the Spectres.
They are the coolest thing that specailizes in turning left ever
BTW i don't have any problems with bicylcists, i just wish more of them would use the bike trails. The worst is when a bunch of idiots group together and take up almost the whole lane.
Well that is just another MV(close enough) that is just begging for super singles. With a little trimming of the deck i could get it down to 102 inches and have a great trailer. The fact that i would even consider paying 10K (atleast) to do that much work just to get something OD (agian close...
does anyone know how wide the the 60T and 62T low boys are. I all ready have a large on/off highway civvy tractor so i can pull them. I don't really want to deal with overwidth stuff i can help it since most of my stuff will fit down the road off a trailer. But i really need to get a equipment...
I am curious about military equipment trailers, lowboys especally. Does anyone know about the pricing on these comparted to the norm? Also dependabilty and durablity compared to civilian normal. And do the use ndcc tires and split rims?
The only thing you need to find now is a set of axles that can disengage and engage the diff with the same air cylinder. The center would have to be able to bypass power to the rear when disengaged. They would also have to to have portal hubs (steelsoilders shoudn't be the only one that gets a...
The weather has been sucking around here since last week-my spring break! :banghead: It snowed last tuesday, 1.5" which reamained for a few hours and melted away. But it was cold! [:(!] Now it's just down right nice outside, but i have to deal with school! :banghead:
