    Dolly ID

I was just going by what I could make out of the pic. The "one set of tandems" threw me off. As sometimes dual wheels are called tandems wheels. Though I don't know why or is it "correct". Versus a single axle with duals or a tandem axle with singles. But hey as long as the job gets done...

Got to see the pics. I would say it is an M363. For what it's worth. http://cgi.ebay.com/1952-trailer-converter-M363-dolly-maintenance-manual_W0QQitemZ250069080001QQihZ015QQcategoryZ586QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    Overcharging?

I have one that sits in the green for about a minute. Then shoots to the high red, and stays there. If you almost kill the engine(RPMs) it'll drop back to the green and stay there for about a minute and then right back to the high red. My fix....unplgged the little wire(not the ground cable...

    Stuff on my truck

How about that box(bed)? Looks like a dropside to me. Would that make it a 195? M35A2C like my Reo?

    M36A2 QUESTIONS FROM A NEWBIE

I'll go with DD. My M275A2(the real one) is a NA engine. It does what it's suppose to do. While the fake M275A2(M109A3) has a "D" engine. Little louder then the NA, but quieter than any of the "C" engines in the parking lot. Welcome Rick........

    Gasser Gauge Panel

Mang, It's in the 1952 REO M109 that was actually more like an M109A3 that is now an M35A2C. That's a mouth full.

    Gasser Gauge Panel

Yeah, I should have said you or Eric aren't allowed to answer. You guys can cheat cause you already saw it. That is a lovely pic isn't it. Couldn't find the original so I could clean it up. But I figure for this it would be good enough.

    Gasser Gauge Panel

Speaking of instrument panels. How's this one? Anyone know what truck it's in. Not to hi-jack the thread...it may be helpfull.

    OK, another heater question

I think I still have the mounting plate you need. Doghead got one the other day, but I think I still have one. Only one of my trucks have the "Hi-Off-Low" plate. All the others are w/o it

    accelerator pedal

Thanks....I liked my old avatar, but then after moving the Komatsu I thought that looked pretty good too.

    accelerator pedal

Check to see that nothing is against the rod going to the IP. If not oil that baby. Still nothing....unhook it from the IP...is the pedal fine then? Pull on the arm that the pedal rod hooks to.....is that sticking?

    Filters

Yes, To do a filter change using NAPA filters......You need: 2----1133 oil filters, 2----3512 fuel filters(secondary), 1----3511 fuel filter(primary), and 2----5070 seals(gaskets). The ones that come with the fuel filters are not the right size. So you need 2 for the secondary. I can't...

    Filters

Thanks for that one Jed. Couldn't remember the Napa # for those. I have a box of them from Memphis still.

    Filters

Keep in mind the seals that come with the NAPA filters won't work for the fuel filters. The seals for where the can meets the base.
  17. westfolk

    Filters

    NAPA....oil 1133, primary fuel 3511, secondary fuel 3512

    M135 Deuce and a half

That's right. With the original setup don't get stuck going forward. If so you're screwed. I don't know where any of my manuals are now for the GMs or I'd post a tear-down of the transfer case so you could see why it's that way. Someone know why they were built like that?

    Concrete

I would go with the 4" as the line. I have a outside pad that is 4" no rebar or fiber. Yes it has cracked however not because of trucks. More than once a 40k-50K dozer has sat on it also not mention several smaller machines weighing in at about 30K.
