What are the engines? Lots of older Airfield equipment used Continental "PE" series engines, which are air-cooled, horizontal-opposed, in 4, 6, and 8 cylinder configurations. (think piston airplane engines)
Uncle Sam sent me here and that's where we settled. Being 8 hours from NYC changes the entire landscape and quite a bit of the Politics, still the State has its nose stuck so far up our arses that they know what we just ate. Two more years (or less) and I'm out of here in fact I just applied for...
I left my truck and brand new trailer in Alabama, and sometime late in April or early May I'm going to bring it home to NY. Truck bed is approx. 14x7 and the trailer is 20' with an additional 5' with the ramps folded. Finding some thing(s) to offset the cost of Diesel would be nice! Of course...
Couple weeks back I logged 2,000 miles in my M923. There's a spot on my butt that you could cut open, saw out the bone, and suture it back up without anesthesia. FWIW: Sometime in April or May I'll be bringing the M923 and a 25' equipment trailer back to Northern New York (if someone needed...

I had thought that an International/Navistar DT466 would be a good re-power for a Duce common, good power, inexpensive overhaul, and relatively the same size.
I always get a kick out of the folks that call anything above the Hudson "upstate" it's three and a half more hours North to my house in Northern NY from there. My oldest son just bought a '71 Kieser M35 from a friend: posting the price could be construed as trolling, and that's not me.
Not to hi-jack the OP's thread, but we're two of a kind: I just bought a M923, and wish someone would have pointed out some of the traditions/expectations the forum members expect. FWIW: I work on Ft. Drum and used to repair green vehicles, now they're mostly yellow.
