Tell me what you guys think of this truck for sale in the UK? I think she looks very clean, if not a little over priced for the truck she is, but still, looks to be in very good condition. And you get a trailer too.

Some fantastic pictures guys.
What amazes me is all your guys’ places. All these photo’s I’ve been looking at usually say “back at my place”. Looking at the picture, there is nothing in the background, just forest, trees, fields. Must be nice living in such an “open” environment. England is SO...
Crappy duece story
Now that's what I call a result. You’re happy and the missus is happy!!!
In England, I've not known this to happen. They usually treat the sewage, pump it into tankers, then the tankers go to the fields, hook up to hoses, then a tractor pulls along a spreader and they...
Here is a UK based Aircraft for all you guys. It's the B-17. This one is the only flying example in the UK. It's a good website, with lots of info about how they keep it flying. Also has show dates to.

I'm not being biased here guys. But I have to say that the Hurricane 1st and Spitfire 2nd are the most important aircraft in the whole of world history. Not many people realise that the Hurricane was a lot more common than it's more famous brother. It was a lot more numerous and had more kills...
The guy who owns the M51 has emailed me today to say that it's fitted with an LDT-465 turbo diesel, and in his words "the most powerfull engine in the "M" series" truck range.
Mmmm..... either he is trying to pull the wool over my eyes, or he doesn't know the engine should be an LDS if it's a...
Thanks so much for the pictures Junkyard wars crusher.
But I have a VERY, VERY funny feeling. Where did you get the photo of the M51 at the show?? That show is the War and Peace show at Beltring.
I have just looked at the photo of the truck for sale and you wouldn't believe it.
THE PHOTO...
5ton multifuel
Hi Gringeltaube
I'm not sure of the price of trucks from Reomie. I guess I am luckier than you in the respect that they are just over the water in Holland. They have a large stock of trucks, and I have emailed the owner in the past. The trouble is he just says to go over and...
Has anyone got any photo's of the M51 with the rear canvas cover fitted? I am interested to see what it looks like, as there is one for sale in the UK, but the pictures I've seen don't show the truck with the cover on.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Cheers
Andy
5ton multifuel
Thanks for your reply Gerhard,
The trouble is, in this country, there aren't many engines going spare. Would you say the LDS-465-1A Engine would be more reliable and have a longer life, due to the fact it has oil nozzels that spray oil on the pistons to keep them cool? cooler...
Would using Veggie Oil,
A) Alter or destroy any rubber seals in the diesel system?
B) Destroy the F.I.P?
C) Leave a sticky residue in the fuel tank/pipes etc
D) Does it burn off cleanly, or would it carbon up the head and foul the injector nozzels?
Some of the guys on my Toyota Hilux Forum are running veg oil in their trucks.
In the UK, you have to tell HM Customs and Excise that you want to use BIO diesel. You have to register as a fuel producer. Then, every month, you have to declare how much you use, and they send you a bill (duty)...
In the UK, we have had to use cra**y diesel for years now. They call it "ULS diesel" (Ultra Low Sulfer) or "city diesel". It doesn't smell like diesel, more like polish. It doesn't have as much "GO" as the old diesel and it smokes a lot less.
What damage this does to my engines I haven't got a...
I have read with interest Cranetrucks reply in a previous post about the difference between the 5ton and 2.5ton multifuel engines.
Can anyone else elaborate on this. I have always thought that the 5ton and 2.5ton engines were the same. Are there any other differences apart from pistons...
When I imported my Toyota truck from Japan, I put a bottle of Slick50 diesel injector cleaner in. I drove the truck for about 10 miles before I got to a fuel station. My mate was following me in his car. After I put the cleaner in he said there was masses of black smoke coming from the exhaust...
Hi Guys.
I have a question reguarding the M51 5 Ton Dumper.
Can this vehicle be fitted with bows and rear canvas as standard, does it require a modification, or can't a canvas load cover be fitted at all?
Cheers,
Andy
