Hi all , picked up a slant back kit today , and although I've been through the tech manuals , I could do with a step by step on removing the turret , ready for shot blasting

As the chassis rails are open either end & are sealed front to back , how do you guys get the water & sand out of the chassis & rust protect , to prevent internal corrosion .

Is their a link or a post which details the age of the truck , by the frame number . Production dates by frame etc , I did come across one somewhere years ago , but I cannot find it now ?

What a waste of parts ! , Great for all us Hmmwv owners , that they will only go up in price , but wouldn't it be great if the spares price came down due to over supply .....
I found mine behind the front bumper , in the right hand chassis , on a factory wired on tag , it was a little rusty , so all you have to loose is 20 mins , it's a 50/50 shot
