Agreed. once you open the inspection plug on transfer case it will be very obvious. if your getting red colored fluid out of your air filter housing it's even more obviously you have a broken cooler loop (Vampire Problem)

that gold thing should have a couple wires coming out of it. they should plug into a small black rectangular box located right next to it. see if that connection is being made or if they are not plugged in

that gold thing is the Cadillac valve. It has to do with the fan . I believe that front hose goes down to the fan clutch. You probably need to bleed the whole system and check fluid levels.

power steering pump? Did you recently have either the cooling stack, radiator fan, power steering related items worked on? you may have some air in the line? Your going to have to pull it out of the frame and rebuild it or replace it either way it will need to be removed. I'm guessing it was either swamped when being driven or was swamped parked in one of the resent floods or hurricanes down south. You have a project ahead of you.
