    my Deuce is slow

    Ok so sorry if this is a repost... but ever since ive been a member ive read about people trying to make there trucks go faster and how there too slow ect ect.. now i know this is not a vehicle meant for speed...but mine seems unusually sluggish... the turbo spools good,spins high..the motor...

    i drive armored trucks..IH 4700's with DT466 and e's.i HATE the DT466E electric ones..it feels like ur foot isnt connected to the engine in any way..however i love the mechanicle...its hammer down all day long and they never skip a beat..its what i want to put in my duece.

    I as well was picking up mine today,i picked ended up leaving with a 65 kaiser,heater,hardtop,full canvas in very good shape,air shift and the c-turbo i wanted,and Timberduece showed up to get his a few mins later,and his dad let me use his vicegrips and saved the day.lol..my 60 mile or so trip...

    u should specify if it a speed related shake or occasional or random ect... to be better helped..but u should just do a good look over first...rim packed with mud...bent rim....cracked separated tire ect..

    Hauling a deuce

    in the past ive experienced that the a big factor is if u got a dually or not..with all that wieght two rear tires gets pretty squirrely at highway speeds.personnaly i would never tow that much with a 3/4 single rear truck.

    ya i drove that d motor truck.agreed on the brakes..but im glad to hear that airforce truck is going to a good home..it was by far the nicest of the group.but since i live near seattle it wasnt practical for me to be running back and forth doing repairs until i could drive it home,congrats!

    Hello all,i just put some money down with a guy who has 4 deuce's for sale..Now i can make up my mind between these two,there both in likewise condition in general,however one has a rebuilt in 1992 D-motor,And the other is a C-motor rebuilt in 1982..and i just LOVE the sound on the whistler...
