well i dont know about your climate(im in washington)...but my heater deff made me like it on some cold wet days...my windows were all fogged and ya..it did the job.but ur right it is a bunch of crap to install and be in the way of things.
.if i could fab things better id run a slim heater core...
hey just to let everybody know..in my project i jsut sprayed with this..ive ran into a big brick wall about using any epoxy poly urethane acrylic ect ect fancy paints like pretty much all sherwin williams chemical coatings and what not..they say hot paints like that will most likely wrinkle this...
hey sorry but one more question..i called those codes into a paint place and the two top codes come up as two diff colors....are they mixed together ? or are they for two diff app's on the truck?
ya i havnt dealt with GL..but im a private party person...u can go look..drive and ask questions that GL wont have an answer to..

I am repainting my deuce asap...i have it all primed using rustoleum clean metal primer,cuz i just blasted the entire truck myself....
so the problem i am having now is finding a LOCALLY available super durable paint that i can get in either flat or satin finish...Ive read tons about all this...
id just go spend the 30$ at home depot to get the husty pressurized spray gun..it works excellent and its only 30$...and ull have a pro looking job done if u take at least a little time.
well just a testament to this stuff..i use the white version tho...i sprayed it on with a gun. with out thinning it...shot perfect ..outdoors..when it was like 30 degress out and snowing(i was under cover) but i did my whole duece after sandblasting and it didnt run..dried perfect y...
ive seen pics of that before around and in my opinion the coolest set up there is..(i dont know why) but ya that's deff what im gonna go with when i do mine
so ya basically ..on this site..nobody cares about anybody's new toys unless they post pic!! lol :D..so ya post em..its even easier than putting it as your avatar so u have no excuse!
im bout to start my bob and im so dreading the rivet removal..i dont wanna go buy a torch kit..but i will...is there any other PRACtical methods?

ya i wouldnt pay 95 for any step anybody made..unless it was a tottaly hidden mechanized one that swings down when it senses i desire to climb up on the front of my truck..
ya but if we got any from matttracks theyd be like...4 grand a piece ..matt tracks is a perfect example of " oh ya were the only ones that make these...so your gonna get ripped off SOOO bad!!! hahaha "
