ya it is..its the best tho!,god id love to have a shlter like that on the back of my deuce. and the trucks air intake is awesome too.
Can anyone post what that shelter (if a MV app>) it is normally used for?
Im in the market right now for some nice comfy seats im planning to mount on top of springer bases..im 6'4 and i getttit done..hopefully i wont have wheel clearance issues..
Ya i agree with above..everybody loves to pamper there new toy ..I remember putting full synthetic oil in my POS first jeep cherokee that already had 240K on the clock. lol
But to each his own..if it makes u happy then go for it..I dont think these motors were designed to need such a thing but...
Ya but when i see a big Super duty diesel pavent pounter lifted to the sky with these leaf packs shaped like big C's ..i go wow that isnt gonna go anywhere off road due to absolutely no flex...and thats what hes gonna get with a custom built high arch leaf pack...
IM curious about why a...
Ive heard nothing but pain in the ass stories about the nuts and what not ,on the electric wiper kits..Im actually glad i still have air powered ... but anyways nice looking rig .Enjoy
I think there referring to the duals of that size not being safe.rubbing issues most likely....And the problem with lifting in 6x6 config is..I wouldn't even know where to start ,trying to LIFT the rear tandem setup.. im interested to know how others think it could be done..
On the other hand...
I havnt Decided what route i want to go with getting rid of the troublesome oldschool filters..
But i dont know about all you but for poor people like me..i cant spend 200$ on some adapters to make the swap..and then(and correct me if im wrong but...) BELOW>.

i cant imagine a very desirable exaust note coming from 2.5 inch pipes with this motor..go with big duals.
And the reason i dug this up is i was turning up my fuel today and i turned the inner bolt 4 full wrench turns with no result...smoke ect..and so i was worried about turning it to many...
Ya i was gonna say kens advice totally contradicts everything ive ever read about turning up your pump..The Adjustment is not made by using the stud on the FDC with the round cover on it!.
I wanted to know ,are there any advantages of this set up?.
Im factoring in-the fact that a complete new fuel filter head can be bought from fleetfilter.com for 20 bucks plus shipping..
is it just the EASE that is worth the extra 70 somthin?
When i sell mine when i bob i will probly ask $400 for it..depends on the market where u live tho ,if theres hella MV guys in ur state or mudtruck guys go higher.
Also factor in that if this guy has a bunch of rotting trucks then u could probly try to go real cheap first and see what he says...
IF your up to it then go for it!
Personally i think its border line on the most impractical thing ever.
And plus the extreme amount of fabrication u would have to do.
You would need a 4 link setup of sorts for the drop axle..
The amount of frame u have behind the rear tandem does not look like...
I know,i was referring to the statement i quoted and the guys out there with 10 grand plus in each axle like the guy sed ,are not using rockwells..
Sure there are plenty of every day off road enthusiast such as myself and the mudtruck guys that run Rocks.. but my whole statement was relative...
Ya..i suppose...but the REAL offroad builders or rock crawler guys would never use a rockwell.. they would use scalloped danas and ford 9 inches, high pinions..
And the conventional ring and pinions for said axles cost a fraction of what these ones were talking about do..even the name brands...
Ya my deuce doesnt got the balls to pull a hill at highway speeds with 671s so i cant imagine how slow it would be with those....
And of courseee..a Perfect example of our oddball hobby getting TOTALLY Ripped off for the toys we want to put on our trucks.
Lol ya i always TRY to search before posting..but i guess i suck at it.. i have the same results..i type in something i want and it brings up hundreds of threads that are pretty useless..
Also... for instance thread #3 is far less relevant than lets say thread #137..oh well.
