Hopefully, you can see the blackouts right below the normal tail light. THey're hard to see, heck, they're even hard to see when it's dark and you have em' on

Looks like we'll have to check them out, right now, our deuce' only has a cheap-o plastic faux camo tarp for the rear, it does the job, but just doesn't look "right" on there
Can anyone tell me where the primary fuel filter is on a deuce???
We were doing the fluid/filter change today and did the secondary and final fuel filters (the ones all the way aft on the driver's side of the block) But we can't seem to find where in the system the smaller primary filter sits...
We seem to get mostly double-takes.
Pull into the gas station, the guy at the counter does a double-take
Pull up to Wal-Mart, everyone in the parking lot does a double-take
Now, most of the other truck drivers you pass on the road give ya thumbs up!
Heh, that time I had my camera, the previous trip, we tipped the scales at just over 21K
Thanks to our deuce' we did what would have taken 10 trips with a pickup in just two trips.
(Gravel driveways love to devlop potholes, and lots of them)
I can personaly vouch that the Deuce' is completely happy at the 5 ton mark, as evidenced by our recent trip to the rock quarry

Most of the Deuces we looked at while shopping around were "theft proofed" by chaning the steering wheel to the seat or floor, and then padlocked. You could start them, but not go anywhere other than a straight line
SOme had padlocked battery boxes (probably just unhooked the cable from one of...
We just have 2 normal 12V automotive batteries in ours, you need to stick some wood blocks in the battery box to "Shim" them up to account for the fact they're smaller in dimension than the ones that were originaly in it
We were lucky that when we needed a jump the first time the truck died...
We're pretty sure it's not a voltage regulation issue, we actualy bypassed the voltage regulator in a brief test so that the alternator would produce the "maxiumum juice" that it could, and it's still nowhere near what it should be, so I think it's just a case of worn alternator brushes. The...
Good to hear it, our deuce is likewise hornless (has one but it doesn't work) we haven't tried to troubleshoot it yet, but it's probably a bad solenoid as well, because it's not for lack of air
Yeah, we've been planning a little "field trip" down to Saturn one of these days, when we first when deuce hunting, we actualy went down to the Navy Logistics Operations base near Carlisle, but the ones they had there were mostly beat-to-hell-and-back. Thanks for the welcome
Seems our deuce is having a problem with it's batteries not charging. About a month after we got it, we took it on a short trip down the road and shut it off. When we tried to restart it, it was dead, would not even crank. We got a jump to restart and brought it home.
We assumed that the...
