Can you recommend a shelter AC/heater that would be better for me? Still like this model very much but I'm no electrician. I don't need to burn the unit up my 1st attempt .
Thanks for the manuals. I will read through them tonight. I'm hoping there's something in there that'll tell me what type of plug it is and how to wire it up. There is another post that I found that does list the part number for the plug but I am unsuccessful in finding a supplier. What...
Called Colemans yesterday and today. They are going to do some research into a plug. Seems strange to sell the unit but not the power cord.
My own Google search has turned up nothing. Hoping a solution will turn up.
Hello,
I saw one of the AC/heaters on Colmans. It caught my eye and I am interested in getting one. However it does not come with a power cord. All the searches I have done do not turn up any solid results. I know the plug at the AC unit is a little different but at the other end does it plug...
Well got to working on it. Cleaned it up really nice. Put a small Oring in the lock nut so it clinches down on the adjustment screw. Other wise it was literally spinning itself out. The old cork washer is still in there but it doesn't do as nice a job.
So (lol) I have a new problem. I can turn...
I need some help. My brain is in a fog from working 14 hour shifts for the last 3 weeks.
I have been working on tuning up a MEP-015a. I got the transducer and voltage regulator issues resolved. My remaining issue is the carb. I thought it a good idea to take it off and give it a good cleaning...
Hello,
I need help with a part number and a seller for a replacement transducer that attaches to the voltage regulator.
Mine is confirmed dead and I am having issues finding one on ebay.
Many thanks.
Yeah. It runs ok. Voltage regulator needed to be replaced.
Yesterday before I posted about the fuel pump I cleaned the sediment bowl and ran the generator with a load. After about 30 min of running the bowl was still empty. Keep in mind the day tank was very low. When I checked the connections...
Thanks for responding.
So if I hear you correctly, if you hooked current to the pump if would make more then a single click? That it would pump repeatedly?
The RF capacitor is the box attached to the positive wire on the pump correct?
Given the way the fuel smelled the 1st time I pulled the...
Hello,
I could use some help troubleshooting an issue with the fuel pump that is between the day tank and belly tank on my MEP-016D with a Yanmar engine.
The issue is it never fills the day tank.
Here is what I have tried and observed.
For testing purposes I have bypassed the float switch in the...
Voltage regulator was the issue. I installed the replacment and it ran as it should. Can the stock VR be rebuilt?
The SX460 avr looks like it really cleans it up. I have another unit I may try that on.
Thanks for all the responses.
I tested the voltage rheostat and got between 0 and 759 ohms. So bad voltage regulator? Where can I pick one up at a reasonable price?
I'm going to wait to test Hertz meter. I found the fuel filter floating in the day tank and want that fixed before I run the...
Hello,
This is my 1st post so bear with me. I have an issue with a MEP-016D with High voltage. It runs at about 170 volts at the convenient ports. The Hz meter is also not functioning. It has a stock voltage regulator. You guys have any thoughts on if this a voltage regulator problem or what...
