Here goes. After burning up two stock alternators I decided to try something different. I purchased a Prestolite 8sa3064p from ebay. This unit is very similar to the ones we use in the 41' UTB's, and they never have problems. So I thought what the h*ll.

Has anybody been double charged? I put 200.00, and it says 400.00. I also have 2 charges on my card for 200 ea.

Well I brought the heater trailer out of summer hibernation today. And like usual it has a problem.:mad: There is a check valve or metering valve that is cracked(pics attached). It runs good it's just leaking. I cant find a manual on this particular model. Does any body have a lead on one...
On the split rim, there is a tube thats leaking not the rim itself, its just escaping at the ring. I would imagine an engineer designed the torque rod setup with the knoledge of the day. 2cents Both work fine if you maintain them and replace worn parts wheen needed, its just dangerous changing...
Your looking for torque rod ends. They are pressed into the torque rod or "dog bone", you need a pretty good press to do the job. I think most of the MV suppliers and guys on this site sell them. Good luck.
