Just remember chains and tracks will get you alot farther in the snow, but also alot farther from help when you do get it stuck. I concur on the Haglunds, I want one too. Oh and once your bumper is burried spring cant come soon enough.:lol:
I may have breathed in too much carc dust but I swear I remember seeing a pic of one. It was mounted on the driver side behind the rear seat which was stowed upright. I've looked everywhere and cant find anything. If anybody has pictures of this or if I am wrong please let me know thanks.
I was in he process of putting a grc-106 in my m1009 untill he trans ate itself. Now the radio is on hold till its fixed, but I can get some pics to show.:beer:
The starter should have 24v if its stock, if it is its spinning to slow with 12v. Have you changed the fuel filter? Did the engine go boom when the glow plugs engaged with the ether in the engine?
I've had 2 alts now do that. The wire going to the post and the post itself is melted. I think it might be the wire shorts out to the case and melts everything. Thats why I went with a prestolite alt...
