RE: Got wood
about 2 1/2 to 3 cords roughly. We also filled our truck up with wood about a year ago and it is alot of wood. It gave us a stack pile of 32 feet long and 5 feet high. Still had some left over.
Looking for someone near Acworth, GA that has experience in body work and possible welding. One of my trucks needs the hinges on the cawling fixed the metal on the cab cawling needs new metal. I could use some help fixing this. PM me for more details. Lunch is included.
My winch truck does the same like yours. Good bottom and mid range but upper is slower. Has a D turbo. This engine is a Continental multifuel but has a 2900 rpm redline. And yes it is correct for this engine. Also nice looking truck you have.
We use them for parades and with our Georgia State Defense Force (volunteer military), shows and also give rides to people so that they can get hooked on the OD Iron.
sounds like alignment problem. too much tow end if on outer side. shocks do not cause this kind of problem. they just cause tires to go out of round and the truck will bounce a lot. remember front tires need rotating just like cars. good luck!!
