RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Deuce engines
We can stir the pot even more. We have a 67 winch truck with the original engine with a tach redline at 2900 rpm and the transmision was setup and geared for this truck. As the truck will run about 50 mph. at the 2900 rpm. This truck also runs 1100 series...
We have 1100x20 tires on both of our trucks. One truck has the Michelin radials. I have not had any problems with them at all except I do run my radials at a higher air pressure than the NDCC. I have noticed a little more road noise with the Michelins but no steering problems or wheel hop.
I keep getting an error on the SpelChek saying that it is temporarilly unavailable. Is there something wrong with it? At this point I am not able to use it.
HELP IN GEORGIA

We would like to know if anyone here in Georgia has a tow bar or a tow truck that could help us get our truck to Tallapoosa, Ga. We are having problems with the brakes they do not work. My husband is not able to fix it himself becuse he is still weak from all the chemo that he has been doing...
We have seen the new yard. Been there and done that. That is where we get parts for our trucks. It is alot closer than SECO in Augusta, GA. That is where we bought our second truck from. They are great people to deal with.
We bought our first deuce from a place out of Pennsylvania. It was in drivable condition. We use it in Parades and help the Georgia State Defense Force haul things in national emergencies. We then bought another deuce that we use as a personal work truck. :driver:
