    Curse this infernal wiring!!

I had a problem with my 76 2wd 6cyl Blazer with the 3 on the tree. The rear cable managed to land on the exhaust and kill the tailighting. I had no idea until a fellow in blue told me. The next day I found the rear cable in a Suburban on top of two other trucks and pulled it, plugged it in and...

If it ant straight it aint right!

That is a rather unusual place for a K5 to rust. Here in New England, they tend to rust heavily from the bottom up and slowly sink into the axles.

    Front end sh-sh-sh-sh-aking!

You may want to jack up the front end and spin the tires and watch the treads for the broken belt. it will become obvious when you see "movement" when watching the tire spin as there will be a sudden jog  This is assuming the lugnuts are tight.

Anyone here have an interest in a 404 ambulance...

I have a 1962 404 ambulance that is low on miles and needs to have the block swapped out. I have the block which is also very low on hours as there is no ridge in the cylinders above the rings. We are talking low, low miles, recent tires with extras and a newer top for the cab. I was thinking...

    HEMTT Title needed

Sometimes, less is more. Don't say anything when going to the DMV and see what they do. If it is unacceptable, then say something. The folks in NH were completely clueless about registering my M135, but $26 later, I had a registration and Antique plates. Not one mention of how many axles, or the...

Doesn't UPS use 5 lug 20"s??? I paid about $50 ea for mounting on the ugly rims... They are still holding up fine too. I also had to pay about $15 per tube. Good thing I have an M135. only six money pits.
