    We lost out today guys!

Have you tried looking for one lately? Even GL/GSA prices on non-runners are way higher than you expect. They are becoming rare whether anyone wants to admit it or not. Regardless $250 for decent M1009 to be cut up is a shame. I have a 71 M35A2 now but I still like my M1008. If I was...

    ABN173's Little Project

Batt box Ok last simple project for today was to trade out the battery box. Thanks to WSUCOUGARX (Mike) who sold me a plastic battery box I was able to replace mine which was so badly rusted I'm surprised batteries were not falling out of where the bottom is supposed to have been. Still need...

    ABN173's Little Project

Just a few small projects today First up is a couple weeks ago I scored a gov issue metal jerry can from an estate sale for free when I bought some other things. Oh it came with two fuel spouts one is similar to issued one but shorter and the other is really narrow. I sanded it down, washed...

Kudos to you guys going it solo. I injured my back in Iraq in 2007, every once in awhile it acts up. There is no way I would attempt large singles solo. There are a few tricks that help sure but jeez.......wow guys.

    ABN173's Little Project

Yes it works on the deuce. Since you originally asked I have had the opportunity to assist Mike and Scott and put the Robotool to the test. There may be a couple that are stubborn that need some PB Blaster but the 24v Robotool does indeed work. The standard air impact does not work, you need...

Do I really need a spare tire?

I have a 24V 1/2" robotool impact wrench for my roadside needs. I have helped other guys remove their lug nuts several times. I really does the trick. Sometimes there are one or two stubborn ones but some PB blaster normally works.

Mike and I were convinced we needed Brad's 10ton forklift too......one night we were forced to do it by hand, took like 10 minutes to seat the split ring and we did one more at mikes house the same way. -Dale

Amram and I felt the same way changing his out, three flats later we became pretty proficient at it. Do you have the proper tire tools? What are using? Once we figured it out it really does not take long. -Dale
