I have a Class E license in GA and it allows me to pull a trailer legally, a M1082 is not legal to pull behind my LMTV with a Class C. My license states Commercial Use Prohibited with the Class E
I just bought a M1078 off GovDeals, the county that owned it spent a lot of money painting it and never really put it to much use. It had perfect tires, new batteries and 3900 miles. The bed side panels were stored in the side compartments. I like my new red truck, I kept my cargo seats...
Does anyone know if the side panels and the vertical support posts off a M1082 Trailer bed and the side panels and posts off a M1078 are the same?
Thanks
Rick
Caffeine and Octane is shot in Atlanta every month. I take the 1078 there a few times a year, they were having an off-road vehicles section that Sunday.....I was in for that. People love the truck there, it's something they can touch...
I bought the bracket at the GA Rally this weekend for my wheel chocks, just trying to figure out how they are held in there...the correct way. I'm going to drop a mud flap in front of the bracket to keep mud off it.
I went down to Ashburn GA to figure out how to load the body on my LMTV. My plans didn’t go well, when crawling under the ambulance bed I was attacked by yellow jackets…stung 5 times. Lucky I had Benadryl in my truck…was not a happy camper. I decided to go find someone in town with a large...
I'm driving down to look at it tomorrow, I need to figure out how to load this thing. They offer zero help loading. Google Maps is great showing me businesses nearby with forklifts...cash helps when you need to load something.
Here are 3 more pictures of mine. This could also end up in the bed of my 931/923. I would like to leave the bed on my 1078 and come up with a secure way to mount it but be able to remove it too. Here is the Fire/Rescue bed that didn't sell
Been looking at all the camper builds, decided to find an ambulance body. Most of these bodies are very well built and can take a real pounding. On Craigslist in Atlanta there were 3 bodies with the most expensive being $1500, this is going to be a weekend camper nothing crazy just a nice...
Go to this site below, most truck drivers are running a Honda 3000 watt generators to power there Coleman Roughnecks AC units. I don't think 2000 watts inverter will do it. Make sure if you buy one it's true sine wave....Colemans don't like dirty power according to the dealer I talked to today...
