my gp module is now in the best location it has ever been in the rig.... in the glove box ;)
i removed the blue wire from the gp relay, ran a new wire from the terminal to a "momentary" push button toggle switch, and grounded to the terminal under the dash on the A pillar.... the relay is power...
sounds to me like your gp module is failing.... the components used to made the gp module had a life expectancy of about 20 years....
check to see if the module is continuing to activate the glow plug circuit after the engine is running... when the light is on...
my module recently fried...
sometimes it will and sometimes it wont, the axles could be what is holding it in place....
try pulling both axles out as far as you can, stuff a block between the wheel cylinder and the back of the axle flange to hold it there.... I see that you already have the bolt out of the center pin...
I'm in for a rescheduled date!!
what is cracked exactly.... I have an np208 here with issues, but does have some good case parts.... (back half of chain case is damaged)
do you know what brand of lift is in your 81?
simple measurements from the bottom of the frame to the bottom of the spring pack and compare the two. after market shackles will affect this measurement.
knowing where you are and where you want to be, get on the phone with their tech line tell...
i said nothing of how much lift any spring would provide nor did I recommend any lift size....
i just provided a technique to establish just how much lift a person needs to level their rig....
best way to determine how much lift you want in the front springs...
easy way.....
utilize level ground and park with only the front tires on blocks.... a 2 inch block under the front tires will lift the front 2 inches giving you an starting point to determining the exact lift you want or...
yes i am lucky, it could have been a lot worse....
and i am always up for a good joke.... i have already noticed that even with a street light within 30 yards of the truck, the only thing you can see from half a block away is a slight glow from the rear plate..... actually thought that might of...
no the glass did not break....
yes, i agree it does add character but a "hit and run" story sucks....
i cant say "I did that!" and tell the story that goes with it, no matter how foolish I may look in the story... :)
but it is the morals and ethics of damaging someone elses property and not...
no blocks in the rear would insinuate there is no lift.... 33x12.5s are said to fit at stock running height....
measure from the top of your axle to the bottom of your frame, and compare with another known stock height m1009
We have lived here for 4 years now.... this morning I discovered I was recently the victim of my 3rd hit and run at our current address...
this time the m1028 driver door mirror was hit...
not like this was a little love tap......
hope the a**hole trashed the side of their yellow septic tank!!
i would say its a suspension lift too....
body lifts look ugly.... here is an example... notice the bumper to the valance panel under the grille.... likewise in the wheel wells, how much of the engine can be seen....

well it sparked my own curiosity....
the "C" code 6.2l did have an egr valve... on some models anyways.... might be a cali smog thing but a search engine run of the phrase "86 blazer 6.2l diesel egr valve" turned up a a ton of listings.... about $200 each too.....
