Welcome. There are a lot of members from Pa. We have a rally at Rausch Creek Off road park in Tremont Pa on March 28-30. We get a good variety of vehicles, nice folks and a bunch of civilian vehicles tag along. It would be a good opportunity to see military vehicles getting used off-road...
Picking up a 923A2 on Monday. So many projects I want to do on these **** trucks, but this snow and cold are messing up my plans. Looking forward to the rally.
A lot of misinformation in this thread. I installed a receiver hitch for a 1980-1996 F series Ford on my deuce. The frame on my deuce, 818 and 931 are all 34" wide. The '99 and up ford F series are too wide. There are a lot of threads on this issue with the part number.
I always enjoy hanging out around the campfire drinking with other MV owners, that is the point of camping to me. I have run up just for the day before, when my schedule is too full, but I like to camp Friday night.
I would like to have one of my CJ2a Jeeps ready for this event. One runs and...
There is no pleasing everyone, but I will do both if that is the weekend. Chad and Todd are good guys and would be a shame to conflict them out. There is a race up there 4/12 that I want to enter this year, but don't schedule around me, I need to get my race jeep and buggy repaired and ready...
Son of a gun. I forgot about the Oaks show that weekend. Scheduling this stuff is always a series of compromises. I want to get to the show and RC both.
Dan your last two posts address the issue with deuces and 5 tons at RC. There are only so many trails that they fit on. Some folks are driving from out of state and need to drive back home with their family, so we try to keep it under control at the rallies. This year we had a M36 lwb deuce...
Welcome. I live just south of Bernville. I bobbed a deuce a few years ago and was just talking today about doing it again. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
I had a great time along with my son and father. The 931 worked good. There were a lot of good comments from jeepers we would come across, all gave us the thumbs up or a waive, though they were quick to pull over. The best was when I told one guy there were 20 more trucks behind me, he said...
At the meeting, we will go over the route we will run. Anyone who wants to split off will know where the rest of the group is headed. We will head out B to the Pole line, stop at the mud pit, run the loop on the west property, run the loop on the south property then finish with a figure 8 on...
My 7 year old son and my father are coming. We should be there by mid afternoon Friday. Planning on bringing the mog. I still have some work to do on the receiver hitch on the 931 and my 6" drop ball hitch is still 6" higher than I would like. I ran the mog in the spring at the back of the...
