You could try Gypsum Express. They did a similar move for me Fla to NY, 6-7y ago for $1600 (when fuel was lower) . That was less than I could have done it myself after taking time off work. They have terminals in Syracuse (Baldwinsville) and Jacksonville, Fla.( each end of my move) and had the...
I had a similar problem on vehicle to left. I did what Bill just said (flush with garden hose) using the strong Prestone suff from the auto store. Repeated it maybe 2 or 3 times till it water ran clear. I let it run with the hoses off and garden hose in block. Gave CLR some thought but...
Here are some good pictures MikeON posted (photos labeled c-d ) and his associated text.

Depends on what you are pulling it with. If it as a large army vehicle you should be good to go just hooking up the air lines. If you are using a small truck/civy power unit then a surge brakes conversion would be easy. Big old army trucks do not slow down like a car and the electric brake...
When I got my metal coil endorsement NY State gave me a book on cargo securement. Here is the on-line version (I could not find anything from Indiana).
There is also other useful info in the link below (right click save target as...) including a chart with various chain sizes...
Interesting.
(conjecture) I'd guess they made the timing change because a LDS w/wategate can be designed to make boost sooner while not getting to high later. It may have a wider power band but this would seem to have little effect on the peak power output.
Top (left to right)- exterior C turbo (whistler), exterior D turbo, D compressor wheel. C compressor wheel (whistler).
Second row-photo of LDS465 turbo w/wastegate and D turbo, from cranetrucks MV Mag article.
I agree with m16ty on the fuel and EGT. My LD had lots of fuel but was a stone. The turbo made for some huge increase in power and egt, so much so I had to turn the fueld down 2-1/2 turns and it still ran much stronger. Power is all about volumetric efficiency(air) and fuel.
I don't know if...
The serial # (VIN) is located on the left front lifting ring, and the data plate. The V-100 data plate is by the shifter.
Someone here was just asking where to find the V-150 manual. Apparently they are hard to find. The V-100 manuals are easy. One just went on e-bay for 10 or 20$.
A few...
Here are a few more Vietnam era v-100 Pictures. All of these are Air Force M706E2's except the 3 color camo M706E1 (w/open gun port on door) which is a Guatemalan V. Can't remember who or where I got these, probably form this site or links found here. The file name my offer some clues to...
