Yea I looked at those engines over a year ago. one had been open to the weather for god knows how long and looked like a take out. the other one had been taken out of a wood shipping crate not to long before I looked at them but that was a year ago im sure they are full of water now
ok here is what I think about that as long as you at not doing off roading or any major suspintion travel it should be ok. but with that said im sure it is not worth the risk of damage to drive around with them on.2cents

I had to fight with mine too. what i did is took the bracket off the truck and used some C camps to hold the hole thing together then using some line up bar I forced it all back together it was not a easy process. there is a USMC manual in the TM section on the M66 gun ring but I have not read it.
